Who you are

This role is ideal for a law student who has completed their first year (1L) and is interested in gaining hands-on, in-house legal experience within a fast-growing consumer products company
Currently enrolled in a Canadian law school and have completed first year (1L) by the start of the internship
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Clear and professional written communication skills
Interest in corporate, commercial, or in-house legal practice
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

What the job involves

Term: 4 months (May to August 2026)
We are seeking a Legal Intern to join our Legal team for the summer
The Legal Intern will work closely with the SVP, Legal and will gain exposure to a broad range of corporate and commercial legal matters, with a focus on contracts, governance, and legal operations
Assist with the review, drafting, and administration of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and other standard commercial agreements
Support in reviewing and organizing vendor, supplier, distributor, and services contracts
Help maintain and update the Company’s contract repository, including cataloguing agreements, key terms, and renewal dates
Assist with the preparation and organization of Board and committee materials, including agendas, resolutions, and minutes
Conduct basic legal research on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters as needed
Support general legal operations and process improvement initiatives
Assist with ad hoc legal and business projects as they arise
