Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in backend development
- Strong experience with Go, Node.js, Python, Java, or similar backend languages
- Expertise in RESTful APIs
- Experience building ecommerce / payment systems
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems that power our product.
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and reliable solutions
- Design and implement backend services and APIs that are scalable, reliable, and secure
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to define and build new features
- Optimize performance and scalability of the backend systems
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior engineers
- Identify technical debt and provide recommendations for improvements
