3+ years of hands-on analytics engineering with tools like dbt, BigQuery, Fivetran, GA/GTM
Ready to own the strategy — either you’ve led this before, or you're experienced and hungry for the step up

Strong communicator — you can explain technical ideas clearly to any audience

What the job involves

Architect and manage a trusted analytics layer that empowers everyone to self-serve insights
Define scalable data models and metrics, collaborating with analysts and stakeholders
ETL & Data Modeling Transform raw data from multiple sources into clean, analysis-ready datasets
Integrate and standardize data definitions across tools and platforms
Focus on impact and clarity — not backend plumbing like Kafka or Airflow
Drive Strategic Readiness Stay aligned with product and commercial roadmaps so our data stack is always ready
Keep up with industry trends to incorporate the best tools, automation, and AI
Ensure Data Quality Own company-wide data definitions and enforce consistency
Set up quality checks (e.g. dbt tests, Great Expectations) and monitor for freshness and reliability

Stasher acts like an Airbnb for luggage, leveraging crowdsourcing to connect travellers with local shops and businesses where they can store their luggage. All storage comes with insurance, and Stasher splits profits 50:50 with its luggage hosts. This means the company has broad appeal for tourists and small businesses alike, allowing Stasher to scale at an impressive rate since its launch. It now operates in over 250 cities worldwide, and has partnerships with companies such as Premier Inn, Accor and Expedia.

Stasher's simple, unique and effective solution has helped it become one of the UK's fastest-growing startups. It will need to grow its team if it is to expand to more locations worldwide.
