Site Reliability Engineer, Fubo

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or a similar role
• Proficiency with container orchestration using Kubernetes
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as Postgres, Open Search, and Redis
• Strong knowledge of event streaming platforms like Kafka
• Experience with cloud platforms AWS and GCP
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like Grafana and Open Telemetry
• Experience with configuration management and infrastructure as code using Ansible and Terraform
• Experience with Rest APIs design and maintenance
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at Fubo, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our video operations infrastructure
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement systems that are resilient and can handle the complexities of modern video streaming
• Your expertise will help us maintain a high level of availability and reliability for our services
• Additionally, you will support our financial operations by managing SKU tracking, cost management, and contract lifecycle processes to ensure accurate and efficient financial management
• Design, build, and maintain scalable and resilient infrastructure using Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible
• Manage and optimize databases including Postgres, Open Search, and Redis
• Implement and manage event streaming platforms such as Kafka
• Monitor system performance and reliability using tools like Grafana and Open Telemetry
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable deployment processes
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to build and maintain Rest APIs and microservices using GoLang and Python
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP, ensuring best practices for security, scalability, and cost-efficiency
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to maintain high availability and performance
• Implement and enforce best practices for system security, performance, and reliability
• Manage contract lifecycles, including contract creation, renewal, and termination, to support financial and operational objectives
• Track and manage SKUs to ensure accurate inventory and resource allocation
• Implement strategies for cost management and reduction to optimize resource usage and minimize expenses
