Who you are
- Proven experience in strategic finance, accounting, and revenue operations from early stage through version three of growth at a startup

What the job involves
- As the Director of Finance, you will play a crucial role on our leadership team, overseeing all strategic and functional financial operations
- You will report to the CEO and work closely with other department leaders and external stakeholders to ensure the company’s financial health and growth
- Your responsibilities will include implementing efficient financial processes and controls, leveraging advanced technology, and developing plans to scale the business
- You will have the opportunity to build and lead your founding finance team
- As a Senior Leader, you will foster a culture of humility and collaboration, driving successful outcomes across the company
- As the Director of Finance, you will join a passionate team dedicated to revolutionizing the restaurant and hospitality industry through AI
- You’ll build a sense of belonging through collaborative projects, open communication, and a supportive environment that values your contributions
- Develop and execute financial strategies to support Slang.ai's growth from Series A to Series B and beyond
- Oversee all aspects of financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Implement and manage accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Lead revenue operations, including billing, collections, and revenue recognition
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the executive team to drive business decisions
- Manage investor relations and fundraising efforts, including preparation of financial statements and investor communications
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
