Role
Who you are
- This internship is perfect for someone who’s eager to gain hands-on experience in shaping the visual direction of Picnic’s campaigns and in-app promotions
- You’re in the final stages of your HBO or equivalent design studies
- You have a solid portfolio showcasing your keen eye for detail and creative flair
- Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma
- A proactive self-starter with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude
- Experience with photoshoots and/or photography editing is a big plus
- English skills on point
- Availability: at least 4-6 months
What the job involves
- Note: this is not a UX/UI design job
- As a Visual Design Intern, you’ll join a talented team of designers, store managers, promo coordinators, and copywriters
- Together, we create engaging campaigns that showcase our assortment and drive conversion
- You’ll gain hands-on experience in developing campaign visuals, preparing photoshoots, and contributing to Picnic’s unique visual identity
- Your goal is to support the team in designing the most engaging store campaigns and promotional elements for our app that resonate with customers
- Create and update promotion campaigns in our app
- Contribute to product presentations and campaign visuals
- Help prepare for campaign photoshoots and join shoots on-site
- Work and learn from experienced designers, photographers and business stakeholders internationally (the Netherlands, Germany & France)
- Research retail trends and competitor strategies to keep the team informed
- Collaborate with the UX/UI team to create the best experience for our customers
