Technical Support Engineer, Honeycomb

• 2+ years experience as a Customer Support Engineer
• Basic knowledge of NoSQL, such as MongoDB
• Experience using log management tools for troubleshooting like Datadog or Grafana
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to details
• Display a customer-centric mindset, focusing primarily on internal customers
• Demonstrate clear and effective communication skills when interacting with internal stakeholders, always prioritizing their satisfaction and striving to exceed their expectations
• Ambitious, driven, self-starters with ability to thrive and adapt in a constantly changing environment
• The role is based in Chicago, IL, with a hybrid work model (3 days in the office)

Desirable

• Our Customer Support Engineers serve as the first point of contact in the company by supporting internal teams and external customers on live issues
• Work towards resolving and driving production bugs to resolution. Own and drive the process by identifying the affected area, apply intermediate resolution where relevant, assign to the proper stakeholder in engineering and follow up on the resolution
• Act as Subject Matter Expert in select technological areas, including building workarounds and best practices in production
• Fully and accurately document troubleshooting and problem-resolution steps
