5+ years of recruiting experience with at least 2+ years of technical recruiting experience at a startup
Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-urgency environments, maintaining attention to detail and quality
A self-starter with experience taking projects from 0-1 with little oversight and ability to articulate the why's and how's in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Clear track record of success with hiring senior/staff+ engineering talent
Ability to effectively influence engineering leaders to shape hiring strategies
Proven experience with complex candidate closes
Analytical thinker that understands how to utilize pipeline metrics to inform recruiting strategies and identify bottlenecks
Customer-focused attitude, excellent interpersonal skills to handle all levels within an organization, and a track record of providing a high-touch experience to both candidates and hiring managers

What the job involves

As a Senior Technical Recruiter at GlossGenius, you will be responsible for owning the full-lifecycle recruitment process for roles across our engineering pillars, this can include both pipeline-based hiring and unique job requisitions
You will partner with our engineering leaders to develop, execute, and improve on our hiring strategies to attract and hire top talent across NYC, SF, and Toronto
You will report to the Senior Manager of Technical Recruiting
Run an efficient, high-touch, full-lifecycle recruiting process for searches of varying levels of complexity
Own sourcing for a variety of roles which will include talent mapping, market research, referral generation, and other creative strategies to find stellar technical talent
Leverage tools like Greenhouse and Gem to track candidate progress, resurface existing talent, and ensure high-quality data integrity
Manage stakeholder relationships, drive alignment on priorities, and leverage data to influence decision-making and strategy
Promote GlossGenius’ culture and values to attract top talent and increase the company's employer brand awareness
Maintain a strong pulse on the technical talent market and provide insights on competitive hiring trends
Proactively integrate AI tools and intelligent automation into your daily workflow to maximize efficiency
