Role
Who you are
- Are a current student from the fields of business administration, economics, real estate, sustainability, or any other relevant field looking for a full-time internship (32-40 hours)
- Are available for a 5-6 month internship starting in January/February
- Are fluent in English, written and spoken
- Have affinity with Microsoft Office tooling and Salesforce
- Have good analytical skills and a creative mindset. We love a go-getter attitude
What the job involves
- ParkBee is growing fast and our ambition is to further expand across 15 countries in Europe to broaden our network even more. The responsibility of creating new partnerships with new locations lies with our Business Development team
- In the centre of ParkBee, you will be playing a major role in our fast-paced growth
- You will be responsible for preparing, meeting and communicating with potential and existing clients
- Actively source new locations by visiting cities in the Netherlands
- Gather more information of locations that are already in the CRM system via on-site visits and cold calls and update these into the CRM system
- Develop and assist in conducting different kinds of content for potential clients in the real estate industry, e.g., portfolio analysis
- Assist in current sales deal flow and the go-live of new locations
- Run analysis and reports from the CRM system to provide sales information to your team
- Create presentations and prepare other documentation for meetings
Our take
We are currently facing many challenges that derive from the scarcity of physical space in big cities, an issue that will become more prominent in the following years as cities grow both larger and more congested. One of the challenges is the scarcity of parking locations. ParkBee aims to address this problem by developing smart car parking technology that optimizes the use of current resources in order to provide travellers with access to the best place to park.
The startup leverages its network of locations, smart integrations and predictive systems in order to utilize existing underused parking locations and to direct traffic to the right place at the right time. ParkBee's software is used by the UK’s most well-known public car park operators, hotels, and private commercial office spaces. Moreover, the startup allows landlords and other private car park owners to monetize their underutilized spaces by making them available to the public. ParkBee's software is also integrated with consumer-facing car parking space booking apps like RingGo and Parkmobile.
ParkBee's business model involves splitting the revenue generated through renting each parking space with the owner and the fee it charges consumers with RingGo or Parkmobile. The Netherlands-founded startup has over 550 connected parking locations in six countries.
