Who you are

We're looking for people at various levels eager to join a fast-growing team as an early hire
3+ years experience in software engineering with a focus on Python
Experience working with data pipelines and organising complex data
Strong knowledge of AWS
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

Desirable

Familiarity with Azure and GCP is a plus
Some experience or interest in learning React
Previous experience working in a start-up or other small agile team

What the job involves

Developing and maintaining Python-based applications to support our big data cloud sustainability products
Using Python libraries such as pandas and polars to process large amounts of data
Implementing and improving DevOps processes, ensuring scalable and efficient deployments
Working with AWS services and infrastructure, as well as touching on Azure and GCP
Optimising cloud-based architectures to enhance performance and efficiency
Collaborating with researchers, data scientists, and the methodology team to integrate emissions data into our platform
Ensuring code quality through best practices, testing, and documentation
Contributing to product discussions, bringing innovative solutions to complex cloud challenges
