What the job involves
- Our People Services team supports our entire Gousto population, owning the key operational steps in the employee lifecycle
- We’re on a journey to improve our ways of working by focusing on employee experience, simplicity, automation and compliance
- We’re looking for a People Services Advisor to join our friendly and collaborative team
- This role offers a unique opportunity to lead on process improvement initiatives, work across a wide range of people operations, and contribute to an inclusive and engaging employee experience
- Lead the onboarding and offboarding process for salaried employees, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience
- Manage the contractor and freelancer onboarding process, supporting managers and ensuring compliance
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to resolve contract queries and ensure smooth pre-boarding
- Manage employee life cycle processes including contract changes and family leave entitlements
- Provide guidance on complex or escalated employee queries to People Services Assistants
- Advise managers on employee relations matters such as probations, absence, and flexible working requests
- Carry out exit interviews and support ER consistency across the business
- Drive improvements to people processes, focusing on automation, scalability and legal compliance
- Maintain accurate documentation including contracts, engagement plans, job descriptions, and org charts
- Build trusted relationships with People Partners and Line Managers, providing operational support and advice
- Deliver ad-hoc training and occasional office support, including event coordination and reception cover
