Senior Director of Engineering, Autodesk

• Highly technical systems thinker with 15+ years of big data and web services platform experience (APIs, front-end, backend, security, data, service, persistence layers, automated testing, etc.)
• 5+ years of experience in managing and leading high performing global teams
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills are a must have, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations and virtual teams
• Strong leadership, problem solving, communication, and influencing skills
• Ability to manage teams across multiple geographies
• Experience with building machine learning systems and operating these systems at scale

• As a senior technology leader reporting to the Vice President, Analytics Data and AI/ML Platform, you will identify, assess, prioritize, and most importantly drive the projects through which we will achieve this outcome
• You will play a key part in realizing Autodesk's platform vision around Autodesk Assistant and transforming multiple industries
• You’ll work with teammates across the globe and will travel up to 15% of the time for face-to-face meetings like conferences, team offsites, and team visits
• Ownership of Architecture, Engineering Execution, and Operations for Autodesk Assistant
• Consulting and collaborating with stakeholders and other teams to adequately understand requirements for Autodesk Assistant and be responsible for product management/implementation
• Hire and grow the team across multiple geos. (India, US and Canada)
• Be responsible for engineering and operations excellence across all processes and systems
• Be responsible for growing the Autodesk Assistant ecosystem both internally and externally
• Have a vision around how Autodesk Assistant will keep up with the changing landscape in the agentic/co-pilot/plugin workflows
• Establish Autodesk as an industry leader in the Assistant space
