Who you are
- You are someone who is curious, inquisitive and passionate about working with data
- You enjoy solving complex problems by diving into the details to identify the root cause
- You enjoy taking large, complex datasets and creating easy to digest visualizations that help drive how key decisions are made
- Study towards Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Quantitative-Based Major
- Experience working with data visualization software (ie Looker0 to design and build reports and dashboards
- 2+ years of experience with large data sets and relational databases
- Strong analytic, problem-solving, communication and critical thinking skills
- Passion for working with data and using it to tell a story
- Experience turning business requirements into clear and actionable data visualizations
- Experience with conventional office applications (e.g. Microsoft Office, Google Workspace or G-Suite, etc.)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, 100% remote environment
Desirable
- Experience working with healthcare data (claims, EMR, etc)
- Experience working with telephony and/or CRM data
- BS on second coop or Master’s Degree in Data or Business Analytics
- Experience working with SQL, R, Python, or other data/statistical programming language
What the job involves
- Reporting To: Mike Distasio
- As our Analytics Engineer, you will work closely with internal teams across the organization to understand their data needs and build reporting that give them tools to improve their workflow and make informed, data-driven decisions
- Build complex data pipelines and advanced analytic queries to derive insight from complex data systems
- Develop and maintain interactive reporting dashboards working collaboratively with internal partners across the organization
- Work closely with Patina stakeholders to understand their business and data needs to identify opportunities for improvement through analytics and reporting
- Lead, perform and document data analysis, data validation and data mapping across a variety of data sources
- Train end-users on how to maximize the use of the dashboards/reports and clarify report interpretations

Engineered around the specific needs of this age group, Patina also supports carers and loved ones as well as patients, providing an on-demand service that works around the lifestyles of its individual customers.
