Role
Who you are
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry
- 4+ years of experience with Java or a similar OO language, JavaScript, Spring Boot
- Experience with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations
- Experience building API clients and efficient, sustainable usage of public APIs
- Experience with data streaming mechanisms is a plus
- Familiarity with containerization and relevant technologies, Docker, Kubernetes and Knowledge of DevOps best practices
- Familiarity with Splunk is a plus
- Fluent in version control, using IDEs and CI pipelines
What the job involves
- Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)
- Work with the product managers to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high-quality components
- Implement high-quality, high-performance integration and unit tests
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new products, features and components while also enhancing the existing product suite
- Redesign, refactor and improve code quality and maintainability
- Use APIs to transfer data from Knowledge base systems
- Own the development and deployment cycle of the components you are building
- Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing

The company has more than 7500 customers, including 80% of the Fortune 500 list of the United States' largest corporations. ServiceNow now looks to increase its revenue threefold in upcoming years and has entered into a 5-year partnership plan with Visa, beginning with the launch of a Visa-integrated dispute resolution solution for issuers. The company is prioritising organic growth over mergers and acquisitions, with a target revenue of $15 billion, something which its Visa partnership will no doubt aid in achieving.
