Who you are
- The ideal candidate would be a seasoned technical recruiter with a proven ability to build and scale recruiting operations in a high-growth, ambiguous environment, while effectively partnering with senior leadership and managing a diverse range of technical roles
- 5+ years experience sourcing for technical roles & closing top tier engineering talent in the UK market
- Deep understanding of the UK Tech talent landscape and local recruiting practices and regulations
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills at the executive level, having prior experience working directly with senior leadership
- Sound recruiting and sourcing fundamentals
- Ability to solve complex problems independently
- Ability to set proper expectations with stakeholders and keep them informed
- Private equity knowledge & closing expertise in competitive environments
- Ability to thrive in undefined environments
- Ability to navigate the complexities of a fast-growing, technology-focused organization
- Full cycle recruiting experience across multiple disciplines

What the job involves
- As the first full time recruiter for Anduril UK, and a key member of Anduril's recruiting team, you will be responsible for the region's talent management as we continue to rapidly grow
- Your work will be hands-on, involving high collaboration with Senior Leaders and various stakeholders to define and own the hiring needs of the business
- To achieve this, you will be given the autonomy and tools to execute on our strategy to build and develop Anduril's world class team
- Source and identify top UK technical talent across multiple disciplines within Hardware and Software Industry
- Lead various initiatives across the recruiting team
- Manage candidates through entire recruiting process
- Work with hiring teams to identify needs on the team
- Partner with interviewers and hiring managers to define interview process and new evaluation techniques
- Cultivate employee referrals
- Conduct initial candidate phone interviews
- Manage onsite candidate experience
- Maintain ATS data
Our take
Anduril makes hardware and software for defense agencies including the Department of Defense and the Department of Homeland Security. Its hardware products include specialist drones with a long flight time and surveillance towers.
This hardware is tied together by proprietary software, the Lattice platform, which uses sensor fusion, machine learning, and mesh networking to integrate real-time data from Anduril hardware and third-party systems into a single, autonomous operating picture. While the hardware observes and detects, the software can make decisions as to the threat level of any anomalies, and so allow for observation and protection of an area or building with minimal manpower.
Anduril closed a Series E funding round in 2022 led by Valor Equity Partners. This funding was used for research and development of its autonomous defense products, such as the Roadrunner, a modular twin-jet powered autonomous vehicle that can take off and land vertically. Variants of the Roadrunner include defensive warhead armed interceptors which are the first drone weapons that can be retrieved after deployment. The company has also expanded to Australia where it is working in tandem with the Australian Defence Force to improve its military technology and infrastructure and is recruiting talent worldwide to support its rapidly growing portfolio of defense projects.
