- Proven expertise in IT Helpdesk roles with a strong track record of success
- Proven expertise in managing and supporting both Windows and MacOS environments
- Hands-on experience with IT budgeting, disaster recovery, and system migrations

What the job involves
- At HeliosX, we empower our teams with cutting-edge tools and secure, reliable IT systems to drive innovation and success
- As the IT Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our IT infrastructure is robust, scalable, and meets the evolving needs of our staff
- Reporting to Nick Faulkner (VP of Engineering), you will lead and develop the IT team, manage key IT projects, and ensure seamless support for our employees
- This is an exciting opportunity to shape the IT function in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment
- You will oversee HeliosX’s IT environment, managing IT support processes to ensure effective service delivery across general IT support, office infrastructure, permissions, and equipment management
- As a hands-on leader, you will mentor and develop a high-performing IT team while contributing to daily operational challenges and long-term planning
- You will manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions, and lead projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery planning
- Additionally, you will work closely with third-party providers to maintain service quality and meet the evolving needs of the company
