Who you are
- You have 4-5 years of experience in an analytical or operations position, gained from a startup, strategy consulting, or other relevant organizations
- You have a first experience leading teams
- You must be fluent in French and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical, story-telling and problem-solving skills (Excel / Google Sheets required)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Hands-on: you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and act fast to implement initiatives
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and eager to learn
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Senior Operations Specialist to join our France Operations team — a role focused on exploring, launching, and scaling initiatives that shape the future of urban mobility
- You’ll have a direct, visible impact on how millions of people move through cities, taking full ownership of your work and driving real change in the marketplace
- You will lead efforts to increase and maintain driver compliance, ensuring full adherence to local regulations while minimizing business impact through a steady, high-quality driver supply and seamless engagement
- Working closely with the France Local Operations and Bolt Central Operations teams, you’ll optimize processes by managing the KYC verification function and leveraging cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Public Policy, Marketing, and Product teams
- Analytics and performance - you will be responsible for setting up and monitoring relevant KPIs to track the performance of compliance rates to identify bottlenecks and conversion gaps, and implement targeted solutions to address them
- Develop & Execute strategies to prevent compliance-related churn and engage drivers through expiring documents renewal
- Structure & Manage in-house and outsourced teams to mitigate all risks related to compliance gaps.
- Collaborate with HQ teams such as Central Operations, Product, Legal, Data, Campaigns, and Marketing to grow the program and coordinate data sharing with authorities
Our take
Across Europe, more and more people are choosing flexible, on-demand transport instead of owning a car. And ride-hailing, shared vehicles and new technology like autonomous driving are all part of this shift. So, cities are pushing for safer and more efficient transport, which is encouraging mobility companies to invest in electric vehicles and even driverless solutions which could eventually reshape urban travel.
Bolt has positioned themselves right in the center of this change, with is leading mobility platform that offers ride-hailing services across more than 50 countries. Through its app, Bolt connects users with transport options designed to be affordable and simple.
Recently, the company partnered with Stellantis to explore Level 4 autonomous, driverless vehicles, showing just how far ahead Bolt is looking for its next phase of mobility.
That said, Bolt operates in a very crowded market and urban mobility is highly competitive, with many local and international players all trying to come out on top. Even so, demand for shared and on-demand transport is at an all time high and only growing. Bolt's broad geographic reach, focus on scale and willingness to invest in future technologies puts it in the perfect position to keep growing.
