Role
Who you are
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage and motivate teams to ensure limited attrition and high colleague satisfaction
- Evidence of delivery and execution focus whilst managing conflicting priorities
- Experience of working in a fast paced changing environment
- Organisational and time management skills
- Comfortable dealing with complex merchant cases and working to find a resolve
- Problem solving and adapting to the ever changing environment and reacting to meet challenges
- Maintain knowledge of all products and services offered and keep informed of changing developments, product and services that would affect the Customer Support Team
- Experience of call centre environments, intraday scheduling and SLA/KPI’s
- Must have experience managing a team of up to 10 FTE
- Must be willing to work 5 days on site for 5-6 weeks for training before hybrid model kicks in
What the job involves
- In this role you will be expected to manage and enhance the performance of a growing team
- You will set clear and achievable goals and you will support the team to deliver these goals
- The person taking on this role will be responsible for the day to day management of workflow, performance and delivery against SLA’s for webchat as well as call handling and email responses
- You will be expected to manage and co-ordinate the schedule of daily activities of the team whilst providing a quality service to our merchants
- You will monitor the performance and development management of the team, ensuring they have adequate training and are motivated by development in the role
- You will deputise for the customer support manager and will be expected to foster an environment that encourages effective teamwork
