Who you are
- 3+ years of experience in sales operations, project management, or a similar role where you have successfully managed internal processes and contributed to operational efficiency
- Strong skills in pulling and analyzing sales data, with a demonstrated ability to turn data insights into actionable steps that drive improvement
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, showing strong organizational and project management skills that enable you to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams and clearly convey insights and strategies to leadership
- Fluency in English. Proficiency in German is a strong plus
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Sales Operations & Analytics Manager who will not only help streamline our internal operations but will also ensure that our sales team has the insights and tools needed to meet the ever-evolving needs of our customer
- You will take the lead on managing key sales operations projects, ensuring that each initiative is aligned with our business goals and contributes to delivering outstanding customer results
- You will regularly gather, analyze, and present sales performance data, translating complex data into actionable insights that help guide leadership decisions and improve overall sales effectiveness
- You will constantly evaluate and refine our sales processes, identifying opportunities for optimization that increase operational efficiency and support the rapid development cycles of our customers
- You will organize and facilitate sales meetings, ensuring that all relevant data is prepared and clear agendas are set, while also following up on action items to ensure timely completion
- You will collaborate closely with the sales, customer value, and app management teams to ensure alignment on sales initiatives, fostering open communication and seamless execution across departments
Our take
The complexity of modern products, as well as the associated manufacturing processes, has increased over the past few decades. This growing complexity introduces three major challenges for engineers creating complex products. Firstly, the process is often inefficient, with engineers spending large amounts of time on non-productive things like coordination meetings. Secondly, information in this area is often difficult to find: engineers commonly spend around a quarter of their time searching for product information. Thirdly, creating cross-departmental understanding is often highly challenging. In short, things need to get better.
This is where SPREAD comes in. Their software streamlines the product design process at all stages, from giving access to part or component information to suggesting how a product can be assembled and even repaired. These high-level product insights are aimed at increasing efficiency in the design process.
SPREAD has generated a lot of interest with a customer base including major manufacturers such as Audi, Ford, Miele and Porsche. This has led to the startup raising a significant amount of funding which it intends to use for early product development and growth.
