Who you are
- Experience selling to developers is required
- 2+ years of progressive SaaS software sales experience
- Track record of success in closing business

What the job involves
- An Account Executive at Weights & Biases is a quota carrying, enterprise software sales position responsible for meeting and exceeding goals through generating and closing new opportunities while increasing awareness of Weights & Biases in the marketplace
- We are looking for motivated, focused, and coachable sales professionals with experience across the full spectrum of the software sales cycle – prospecting, defining and articulating value proposition, pilot process management, business case development, negotiation and closing
- Drive new business opportunities for selling Weights & Biases software and services engagements within assigned territory
- Develop and implement a sales strategy against assigned territory and/or targeted list of customers
- Develop a deep understanding of, and effectively articulate, the W&B offering and value proposition in the market
- Constantly focused on pipeline generation within the territory to ensure long term success
- Interact with and leverage the Channel and Alliance partner community to find new opportunities and drive existing deals to close
- Manage opportunities through the sales cycle from initial inquiry to forecasted pipeline to deal design and close
- Meet quarterly and annual revenue objectives for your territory
- Provide continuous updates on all active accounts and report on sales, activities, status and progress on a regular basis
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and reference-ability
- Travel for client visits and presentations

Weights & Biases (W&B) builds development tools for machine learning, helping businesses to create and use deep learning models. In order for deep learning to work, it’s necessary for companies to be able to monitor how the models are behaving as they are trained. With over 200,000 customers, W&B has differentiated itself from its competitors such as IBM Watson Studio and Valohai by focusing exclusively on machine learning practitioners and not on sales aspects of the technology, and by its competitive pricing.
The company has also launched a product to help different parties collaborate on machine learning models. This is geared at researchers, reducing the need for them to rerun their training examples repeatedly. Over time, this will help to move machine learning technology forward. What's more, W&B's technology is free for personal and academic use, which has fueled adoption enormously, and it is now being used by research institutions such as UC Berkeley and enterpise companies like Samsung and Salesforce.
The dependence on machine learning is growing as more and more companies begin to use artificial intelligence to handle business tasks, so demand for this sort of software is rising. Having raised substantial funding, W&B is moving to futher develop its product, grow its team and increase its marketing reach.
