Who you are
- 7+ years of experience in product management
- 3+ years of product optimization experience, health experience is a plus
- Deep expertise in optimizing funnels and precision recall optimization challenges. Metrics and analytical thinking are your forte

What the job involves
- As the Director of Product Management for Clinical Interventions, you will lead a team of product managers and cross-functional pods in building Counterpart Assistant to be the most focused and targeted product available for physicians in support the care of patients
- You will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy for our clinical Interventions pillar, ensuring that Counterpart Assistant optimizes every data point and interaction, leaving zero redundancy and fully optimized outcomes
- Lead and manage a team of product managers, fostering a culture of analytical rigor, collaboration, innovation, and execution
- Define and champion the product initiatives, strategy, and roadmap for Counterpart Assistant's Clinical Interventions product pillar
- Work with the pods and PMs to prioritize and manage the roadmap, ensuring alignment with the overall product strategy and company goals
- Collaborate closely with data science, analytics, engineering, design, and clinical teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in machine learning and data science, consistently finding ways and approaches to optimize our use of data
- Be the subject matter expert and domain leader for all things funnels and optimization, knowing the product metrics and how we can continue to improve each experience for each cohort of users
- Success in this role looks like:
- Optimizing every funnel from the eligible data through effective outcome for clinical interventions
- Leading a team of highly analytical and data driven product managers improving every 1% of every interaction
- Making data driven decisions, pushing for more data where appropriate, yet not letting perfect be the enemy of good
- Being a member of the technology leadership team, owning initiatives and taking accountability for business outcomes
- Being a member of the team driving Counterpart Assistant to win the market for value based care solutions

It has a patient-centered analytics and dedicated care management team, and thus is able to rapidly identify potential healthcare risks to provide preventative care. This helps to provide a more sophisticated level of care than existing providers, even if its market share is relatively slim compared to competitors like UnitedHealthcare and Humana.
Over the years it has performed well in a rapidly growing market, but in 2021 ran into issues with profitability in the market due to inefficient costings, an issue it is steadily nipping in the bud in 2023. However, the number of elderly Americans has doubled over the past 25 years, and the market is expected to do the same between now and 2025. This upward trend brings hope of revitalising the growth and strong financial performance Clover has seen in recent years, especially as it focuses more on profitability through 2023.
