Who you are

Solid Core Java Skills – Good understanding of Java fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, collections, exception handling and concurrency programming. Experience with reactive programming models is a plus
Distributed Systems and Event-Driven Architecture – Experience with microservice concepts and frameworks, including event-driven architectures, with a desire to build deeper expertise
Integration, API Development and Databases – Experience in designing, building and deploying RESTful and event-driven APIs, with foundational knowledge of SQL and relational database design, plus exposure to containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
Appreciation of Front-End Technologies – Awareness of UI constraints and experience with React and Typescript is a plus

What the job involves

You will play a key role in the transformation of Rates and Credit Fixed Income technology landscape
As part of our multi-year platform modernisation project, you will be responsible for building a suite of new, real-time, high-performance applications supporting various trading workflows
You will be involved in building solutions across the stack and working closely with Business stakeholders to build a maintainable, operationally efficient and scalable platform to last the next decade
Develop a suite of modern, real-time, high-performance React applications to support core rates and credit trading workflows
Drive full-stack solution design – collaborate with backend engineers to design and deliver end-to-end solutions
Engage directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand workflows and rapidly deliver impactful features that improve business efficiency
