Role
Who you are
- 4 to 6 years of project management experience, ideally in software or SaaS
- Experience leading large-scale or enterprise-level projects within a professional services environment
- A track record of delivering complex projects on time, within scope, and on budget
- Professional certification such as PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, or SAFe
- Strong knowledge of project management best practices across waterfall and agile methodologies
- Proven ability to serve as the primary customer-facing project lead and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities
- Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and attention to detail
- High initiative, strong organization, and a collaborative mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally as needed
What the job involves
- As a Project Manager within our Customer Success Implementation team, you will lead large and enterprise software implementations of the AlayaCare platform for our customers
- You will be the primary point of contact for customer stakeholders and internal teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard of quality. You will play a key role in planning, tracking, and communicating project progress while managing risk, scope, and expectations along the way
- As a Project Manager on our Customer Success Implementation team, you will lead large and enterprise software implementations of the AlayaCare platform
- This is a high-impact, customer-facing role where you will guide projects from kickoff through go-live, partnering with customer stakeholders and internal teams to deliver on time, on budget, and with quality. You will own timelines, scope, risk, budgets, and communication throughout the implementation journey

- Own the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of assigned implementation projects
- Define project scope, goals, success criteria, and deliverables with internal and external stakeholders
- Build project plans, schedules, milestones, and dependencies across multiple concurrent projects
- Coordinate resources to ensure the right people are aligned to the right work
- Track deliverables to ensure timely, high-quality execution
- Communicate project progress, risks, issues, and decisions to customers, leadership, and internal stakeholders
- Manage project budgets by monitoring actuals against estimates
- Manage scope changes, trade-offs, approvals, and sign-off
- Proactively identify and manage risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle
- Set and manage customer expectations around timelines, governance, communication, and delivery responsibilities
- Apply project management best practices across waterfall, agile, or hybrid delivery models
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing project environment across cross-functional teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement within Professional Services and your practice
Our take
The home healthcare market is growing due to the ageing population, a global shortage of care workers and a shift to value-based reimbursement. AlayaCare's end-to-end software platform for care providers allows staff to manage the entire client lifecycle, from referrals and intake to billing and payroll. It helps back-office processes run more efficiently, allowing staff to focus on outcomes instead of paperwork.
AlayaCare's platform aims to deliver better patient outcomes and lower costs for providers, reducing both client intake times and resubmissions. This approach has earned the company a large client base of hundreds of home care and assistance firms, including Nurse Next Door, Home Instead and Bayada Home Health Care.
The company was not immune to the general downturn in the tech sector in 2022 and slowed growth as a result. That said, AlayaCare made a series of moves towards a more sustainable business model, which has seen it emerge in a good position. It has now raised additional support to integrate AI into its health record platform.
