Who you are
- This role requires an understanding of corporate finance, a keen interest in learning about the business, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to contribute to the process of making sound business decisions
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or accounting or related field
- 2-5 years of relevant finance experience preferred
- Financial experience including budgeting, forecasting, planning, analysis, and building financial models
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office necessary, especially advanced capabilities in Excel
- Demonstrated competency in use of financial, planning and reporting software platforms
- Proficient in fundamentals of Corporate Finance and modeling of business scenarios
- Knowledge of the income statement, cash flow statement and the balance sheet and how business decisions impact each one, is preferred
- Self-motivated team player with strong ability to interact with others, work under pressure, and adhere to deadlines
- Very strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to propose positive business solutions to complex problems
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with focused attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally at a high level of customer service
- Comfortable working with high volumes of data and the ability to identify and summarize key messages

What the job involves
- The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key resource in reporting and providing critical analyses of Keurig Dr Pepper’s financial performance for finance and executive leadership
- As part of the US Coffee Finance team you will collaborate with business, finance, and accounting teams across the business to help analyze and communicate key drivers of the business’ financial results, as well as provide inputs to executive management packages and scorecards
- Support monthly reporting of Coffee Business Unit financial results to executive and finance leadership
- Analyze actual business results vs forecast, budget, and prior year by brand, customer, and channel
- Actively contribute to the development of the annual operating plan, and interim forecasts, as well as be heavily involved in the month end close process
- Collaborate with business, finance, and accounting teams to help analyze, align, and report the key business drivers
- Evaluate opportunities for process improvement and standardization of key financial metrics for development of financial scorecards and dashboards
- Develop a detailed understanding of financial systems including SAP and various business warehouses or BI cubes to extract data and support the interpretation of periodic results
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling
- Bring a strong work ethic, a sense of ownership, and a positive attitude to tackle the day’s challenges

Founded in 1992, Keurig is an American company responsible for the invention of the single-serve coffee pod - the K-Cup pod. Now developing a range of hot and cold beverages, the company has grown through various mergers & partnerships and has a portfolio of iconic brands.
In 2018, Keurig took over Dr Pepper Snapple to create Keurig Dr Pepper. At the time, this was the largest soft drink deal to ever take place and the newly created Keurig Dr Pepper became the third biggest beverage company in the US.
The company is currently in a transition phase as it prepares for its new CEO, Tim Cofer. He will look to fully take over from Bob Gamgort in 2024, and will be initially focused on driving the company's strategic growth and overseeing operations.
