Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or related field
- Proven track record of 7-10 years in HealthTech or healthcare sales, with a focus on Medicare Advantage
- Bring strong existing relationships—and the ability to build new ones—with key decision-makers in Payer Product, Quality, and Clinical roles (e.g., SVP of Government Programs, VP of Medicare, VP of Quality, Chief Medical Officer)
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including knowledge of healthcare IT, compliance, and regulations
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
What the job involves
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Enterprise Sales to join our team. As an individual contributor, you will play a crucial role in driving our growth by establishing and expanding strategic relationships with healthcare organizations
- In this hunter-style role, you’ll be responsible for securing new logos and positioning our solutions as the answer to their most critical challenges.. The Director of Enterprise Sales will be reporting to the VP of Sales
- Business Development: Identify, target, and engage with healthcare providers and relevant stakeholders to understand their specific needs and challenges
- Solution Presentation: Effectively communicate the value proposition of Papa’s services to prospective clients, demonstrating how our technology can improve their operations, patient outcomes, and overall healthcare experience
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within client organizations
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve revenue targets, including forecasting, pipeline management, and sales cycle management
- Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive offerings, and regulatory changes to provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with our product development, customer success, and marketing teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment with client needs and expectations
Our take
Loneliness is a major problem for the ageing population, and Papa is the first platform dedicated to providing clinical care and friendship to older people. With 50% of older people considering themselves lonely, the company provides a solution to people who don’t need medical care but would benefit from companionship.
“Papa Pals” are matched with elderly users via the network and assist in basic tasks whilst providing friendship and fun. They might help with housework or technical difficulties, take the elderly person to appointments, or just spend time with them. Papa has also started to provide virtual care and chronic care management, and expanded its offering to help families too.
Papa was founded in 2017 and quickly expanded to 50 US states. It provides a strict vetting process to ensure the system is safe for its users. Further, the company's recent partnership with Uber to provide rides for its users is also an example of the strategic moves it is making to offer a comprehensive service.
