Role
Who you are
- You’ve led, sold, and delivered large-scale SaaS projects (£250k+) within a fast-growing startup or scale-up environment
- You're a collaborative leader and manager of managers, focused on empowering individuals and driving collective success
- You crunch the numbers and are experienced in budgeting, resource optimisation, margin and improiving efficiency and project profitability
- You're a delivery process wizard with extensive experience in project and delivery management and building scalable models for delivering high-quality outcomes
- You're able to travel and passionate about cross-cultural collaboration to maintain strong alignment across regions and client bases
What the job involves
- You will lead the team in standardizing our delivery processes, optimizing performance, and driving innovation to consistently exceed client expectations
- You will establish a consistent, scalable delivery framework that ensures smooth execution across all projects, with a focus on our core pricing product
- You will own the delivery team’s performance and development, fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment
- You will invest wholeheartedly in your team's growth, overseeing hiring, training, career development, and enabling a culture of empowerment, vulnerability and open and honest communication
- You will optimize team performance from resource allocation to delivery efficiency, margin management, creating sustainable profitability, all while reducing the time to value from 12 months to 6 months
- You will report into the VP Customer Success, Willem Torfs, and work in a team with Jasper van Dessel and all of our other very talented team lead members
Our take
If an energy provider is to scale over time, it is essential for it to take great care in conducting forecasts, reports and pricing that reflect the current state of the market. The most recent market data is used to achieve this, but such data is often not recent enough, and this can lead to great financial risk for energy providers.
Gorilla provides a data-driven analytics platform for energy providers, including tools for dynamic pricing, forecasting, and reporting that reflect real-time energy market data. The company claims that its technology can help energy providers increase their margins and mitigate risk, ultimately empowering them to streamline and scale their operations.
Whilst data-driven energy solutions are becoming increasingly common, these often concern areas such as sustainability or certificate trading, as opposed to Gorilla’s unique focus on forecasting, reporting and pricing. Through its tools, the company aims to help energy providers futureproof their operations, optimise revenue, and facilitate growth through accurate and rapid quoting.
