- Motivated, intuitive and empathetic to understand what your markets think and feel and how they experience their lives
- Used to trying many things quickly and iterating to identify what we should spend more time and budget on
- Used to owning an entire channel as part of a small but collaborative team
- Ideally familiar with marketing to the 50+ audience in the US
What the job involves
- Community Phone is looking for an experienced Growth Marketing Lead with a focus on Offline Channels, especially direct mail
- In 2025 we will have a multi-million dollar budget specifically dedicated to direct mail. This person will think through which markets we deploy budget and executes campaigns. They will follow leads all the way through the funnel and optimize relentlessly
- Own end-to-end strategy and implementation of full-funnel marketing campaigns across offline channels with a particular focus on direct mail
- Embed yourself in our markets to understand what speaks to and motivates our customers
- Work closely with external agencies to place media buys and refine local buying strategy
- Be extremely test-driven and metrics-driven. Ensure that we are properly tracking the impact of each new offline channel test and that we are understanding traffic, conversion, and revenue impacts
- Build a deep understanding of our customer funnel, ensuring your channels are driving high-quality leads

Community Phone offers a simple landline phone service for families and business without requiring internet. Powered by the company’s landline base, connecting landline phones to cell towers in the area, customers access unlimited local and long distance calls in the U.S that work during power outages.
Revolutionising the traditional landline, Community Phone has built a cloud phone system that runs inside of landlines and therefore grants customers full control over how to use the phone, such as enabling them to transfer the landline number onto a mobile phone or have calls ring on multiple phones at the same time. Its services are trusted in over 5,000 homes and businesses, including Dunkin’ Donuts, Starbucks. Wells Fargo, KFC and 7-Eleven.
The company is gradually getting closer to its goal of giving customers the best telecommunications experience in the U.S. It has received investment from Thiel Fellowship, Canaan and Accel as well as landing a place on the Y Combinator. In 2023, Community Phone expanded into California at a time when traditional telephone network providers such as AT&T and Cox Optimum are switching from traditional copper wire to fiber optics, which risks leaving those without internet coverage in the dust.
