Role
Who you are
- 2+ years of experience selling CTV, online, and programmatic advertising OR 4+ years experience in a client-facing role at an agency holding company
- Strong baseline understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem and full-funnel marketing strategies, with a curiosity to always learn more
- Industry relationships, with a drive to build and grow network
- Must possess superb written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in leading and developing global account strategies with cross-functional teams
- Experience in working with strategic enterprise-level accounts
- Experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
- Travel as needed
What the job involves
- As an Account Executive (Enterprise), you are the primary link between Kargo and the marketplace
- In this sales role, you’ll leverage your relationships and experience to drive significant growth across select Enterprise Accounts
- You will provide valuable input in revenue forecasts and regularly provide market insight back to the company to inform direction and roadmap
- Acquire, build, and cultivate relationships with the agency and brands
- Own a strategic client development plan in partnership with key internal stakeholders (Sales Leadership, Agency Partnerships, Product teams, Enterprise Partnerships) that is built upon the adoption of Kargo products
- Work deeply to understand the customer's business, challenges, and goals. Increases revenue from positioning and presenting new and existing products, preparing appropriate ROIs, and closing the sale
- Evangelizes Kargo as a consultative partner providing clients with world-class customer service and developing strategic partnerships
- Exhibits a HUNTER mentality – an appetite for building and closing deals. This includes growing the market share of current business and driving new business
- Maintains knowledge of company products and capabilities as well as the strengths/ weaknesses of competitive products
- Cycle market response back to the company, primarily the product organization, to help inform our roadmap and positioning

The way in which advertisers reach out to their audiences has changed dramatically over the last decade, primarily due to the invention of the smartphone. Whilst mobile ads have existed since the beginning of smartphones, most rely on technology that was built for desktops, resulting in bad advertising and missed opportunities.
Kargo provides a mobile advertising platform for marketers and publishers, helping them to deliver better business outcomes by leveraging advertising technology designed specifically for mobile. The company achieves this by directly integrating optimized impressions from the best-performing publishers within its specialized supply, using tangible identity metrics to analyze and improve advertiser KPIs, and overall facilitating personalized and mobile-optimized advertising.
The company acquired Videobyte (a video advertising platform for Connected TV) in early 2023 to expand operations into the relatively young digital TV industry and its lucrative TV formats. Bringing video, publisher tools, and unique formats to Kargo's omnichannel, this acquisition indicates a diversification of mediums for the advertising provider, who already has a firm grip on both mobile and desktop advertising platforms.
