10+ years in SaaS closing roles, experience selling to companies with over 10,000 employees
Successful experience with complex, lengthy sales cycles, multi-million dollar TCVs and large multinational organizations

What the job involves

In this role, you will have a chance to join Aurora’s Strategic Sales division, as we transform the operating system for the world’s largest solar companies
In addition to owning the entire sales cycle, you will be a mission-critical voice of the Strategic customer, define our GTM motion, and define our processes and product roadmap within our largest accounts
This role is a mix of net new business hunting and farming our Strategic install base
Own entire sales motion from inception to negotiation and close, both within net new and existing accounts
Manage the upsell and expansion of our largest existing customers, as well as pioneering new opportunities within solar adjacent markets
Run the cross-functional pod to drive the pipeline, including BDR, CS, Marketing, and executive management team
Advise the product roadmap
Continue to define the Strategic GTM motion and make it as repeatable and scalable as possible
Attend tradeshows and in-person meetings with target accounts

Aurora Solar is a SaaS company helping solar sales companies remotely assess and manage solar installation projects. Solar energy is becoming both a more attractive and more financially viable path for large and smaller scale projects, as prices drop and eco-consciousness rises.

There's considerable market opportunity, with the solar installation industry expected to grow significantly over the next decade, and Aurora Solar is enabling these installations. Aurora wisely offers products that contribute all along the supply chain of solar developments; such as solar sales, engineering design, and automated operations. It has also delivered AI-enabled solutions aimed at streamlining residential solar lead generation, project design, and sales processes.

Aurora Solar has seen significant investment that has allowed it to operate at the front of the sector as it develops, and in 2022 reached the milestone of generating its 10 millionth solar roof design. It has been working to develop new partnerships and integrations, such as with Dividend, Mosaic, and Sungage Financial, to further advance its goal of accelerating solar adoption.
