Who you are

You prioritize the customer experience and have a customer-centric mindset

What the job involves

As a Mobile Developer Support Engineer, your role will be to provide outstanding support to our customers by addressing their technical issues
You will act as a trusted technical voice and product expert, working with customers to resolve their issues, answer their technical questions, and create code samples
You will closely collaborate with your colleagues in enterprise success and other teams, including engineering and product
As a Mobile Developer Support Engineer, you will help other developers successfully integrate Scandit SDK into their apps
You will work with the developer teams of our US-based customers, focusing on a variety of mobile technologies, particularly React Native and native iOS
Communicating with external developers through email, ticketing systems, discussion boards, and video calls to solve problems
Collaborating closely with the engineering team to identify and fix bugs, and improve sample applications to ensure smooth integration for our customers
Alongside other support engineers, maintaining our FAQs to provide a comprehensive resource for our users
Core working hours with limited on-call duties
While most internal communication occurs asynchronously (via Slack, Zendesk, Jira), you will need to have some overlap with colleagues, primarily based in the CET timezone

Our take

Scandit leverages the cameras found in smartphones, tablets, wearables, and other devices such as drones to enable direct interaction with products. Scandit technology enables the cameras on these devices to scan barcodes and other product data.

Supported by a successful $150 million raise, the company has continued to innovate in the area with its focus on the Microsoft Hololens and other wearable displays as ways to help streamline warehouses.

Augmented reality is forecast to become a huge industry in itself, and as one of the early movers in the space, Scandit is well placed to further capitalise on the trend.
