5+ years of experience in a Backend or Full-stack development role
Has experience in or an interest in learning Haskell, and deep proficiency in SQL
Is a pragmatic and passionate developer who can build both robust systems and killer standalone features

What the job involves

Peer-driven network effects: We enable customers to interact with the wider world via Shareables like invoices, SAFEs, and recipient invites. Shareables grow Mercury by letting users put our winning product in new people’s hands, and multiplying the power of customer referrals
Partner referrals: We develop tools for Mercury’s referral partners to encourage their ongoing investment in Mercury’s growth
New account paradigms: We innovate new product surfaces that go beyond Mercury’s banking offering to attract new high value customers like Accountants, Lawyers, and VCs
Our product engineering group is growing and we’re looking to hire backend and full-stack engineers.
We’re a team of pragmatic, product-minded engineers motivated by the desire to create lovable products that rescue our customers from frustrating, expensive legacy industry tools
