Role
Who you are
- 12+ years of new business, enterprise sales experience in digital media
- Existing relevant vertical expertise in enterprise retail accounts is highly preferred, with experience targeting relevant stakeholders such as VP-level+ marketing, media, and executive contacts
- Proficiency with Salesforce and Excel
Desirable
- You have demonstrated success in generating new leads from new or existing partners
- You’re meeting or exceeding goals around metrics such as new brands signed, new brands activated, new revenue generated, and brand penetration
- You embrace objections as opportunities for education and find solutions
What the job involves
- The Sr. Partner Director will report directly to the Senior Director, Industry Lead, and will be responsible for building new and expanding relationships with strategic retail clients in the Enterprise Retail vertical
- This is a full-time role that can be held from one of our US offices or remotely in the United States
- New Business: Activate and generate new leads with new or existing contacts with this partner. You will be responsible for contributing to revenue targets within your Pod
- Independently craft proposals and meet with prospects to share Fetch’s vision, strategy, and value proposition
- Leverage data in proposals to show brand partners the power of Fetch in driving their business forward
- Sole point of Influence for decision-makers on Fetch’s partner teams, showing brands the power of Fetch and guiding them to full partnership. You are highly comfortable engaging directly with executive leadership
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of Fetch's offerings and tech/product/marketing pipeline. You know where Fetch is and where we're going with the depth to get new partners/brands to full partnership
- Work closely and collaboratively with Industry Lead and AMs (Account teams) on offer details, programming, and calibration
- Remain up-to-date on digital media/marketing industry trends, network, and demonstrate your subject matter expertise in the retail space to prospective partners
Our take
Leading mobile shopping and loyalty platform Fetch has seen explosive success in recent years. Its concept is simple: users receive spendable points in exchange for scans of their shopping receipts.
The app has tens of millions of daily active users with even more downloads, and has seen impressive growth, having now reached 'unicorn' status twice over. This should come as no surprise. Brand reinforcement is crucial to customer retention and acquisition - but it is harder than ever, with the fragmentation of choice on the market and the declining efficacy of marketing. So material loyalty benefits are likely to prove a crucial tool in creating and leveraging a strong customer base.
Whilst Fetch faces competition from similar receipt-scan rewards platforms like ReceiptPal and Ibotta, it grew into a profitable company in late 2023. And its using its most recent Morgan Stanley-backed funding to aggressively add brand partners at a competitive pace and onboard staff at a level that promises strong continued growth.
