- We’re looking for exceptional builders – people who have a proven track record of designing great products, ideally at B2B SaaS start-ups or scale-ups during a period of rapid growth
- Depth of experience: You have 5+ years of experience doing end-to-end product design work: getting a 0 to 1 product out the door, then scaling it from 1 to 10 alongside product managers and engineers
- Goal focus: You care about business and customer impact and drive towards measurable outcomes. You set clear goals, execute with quality in mind and prioritise what matters most
- High agency and start-up readiness: You don’t sit around waiting for instructions or the perfect conditions to get started. When something needs to get done, you take ownership and you make it happen. You’re resourceful, proactive, and thrive in ambiguous situations where the path forward isn’t always clear. You act with urgency, thrive in ambiguity, and proactively unblock yourself and others to maintain momentum
- Collaboration and communication: You work effectively across functions, communicate clearly and simplify complex ideas
- Technical skills: You’re familiar with popular front end technologies (HTML, CSS, React, Tailwind). You embrace dynamic prototypes as a way to communicate ideas quickly, even ship code to production sometimes
- Learning mindset: You embrace feedback, pursue growth, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement
What the job involves
- We’re now looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team and take product design at Nory to the next level
- You’ll have the unique opportunity to shape the future of restaurant management, designing products that simplify the work of restaurant teams worldwide and help operators run profitable and sustainable businesses
- You will collaborate closely with product managers, product engineers, customer success and other designers to build a truly special product, in a tight feedback loop with leadership, production and our customers
- Working through customer problems from the very beginning through launch and multiple iterations. Planning and shipping new, high-impact features to make Nory smarter, more powerful, and ergonomic for our users
- Rapidly iterate on the product to meet the needs of new and soon-to-be customers. The product is relatively young, and we work closely with its users to improve it based on real-world usage
- Deepening our understanding of our users and customers, using this information to create best designs possible & sharing this information with the wider Nory team
- Working with our GTM function to improve how we present Nory (and ourselves!) to the world
- Maintaining and evolving Bento, our design system
Our take
Nory’s AI and automation software allows restaurants to more easily take control of common pain points like inventory, staffing, and marketing, all on one platform. With thin margins, stretched teams and high levels of waste, Nory was founded by a seasoned restaurant founder and scaler, who knows all too well how juggling "market-leading" systems can become a headache for restaurant managers. Indeed, he even built an early version of Nory for his own restaurant.
What makes Nory a particularly interesting prospect is the value that it can offer multi-site restaurants or chains, given its ability to collect data on each location at once. It melds real-time data with AI predictive analytics so that operators can regain control of their profit. It’s this certainty of purpose and value that’s helped Nory get off to a flying start, securing a rapidly growing customer base including Stonegate Pubs, Dr Juice and Viva Italia.
Having raised a significant amount of capital, most recently in a May 2025 Series B round, Nory has grown its team and expanded from Ireland and the UK into Spain as well. It's using its funding to expand into the US, hire data scientists and accelerate its product development. As the hospitality industry struggles with high costs and low margins, Nory's solution will be increasingly essential for restaurants seeking to optimise their operations and turn a profit.
