Who you are
- 8+ years of experience with React and TypeScript
- Strong understanding of software development processes
- Proven experience building products from 0 to production
- Up-to-date with the latest frontend frameworks and libraries
- Experience with GCP, MongoDB, GitHub, and Terraform
- Experience in software project planning and managing complex projects
- Ability to mentor and lead junior engineers
- Strong cross-team collaboration skills, with the ability to step up and lead when necessary
- Great written and verbal communication skills in English

What the job involves
- TealBook is seeking an experienced Frontend Staff Engineer to lead the development of a B2B generative AI chatbot project
- In this role, you will mentor junior engineers, make key decisions on frameworks and best practices, and implement dynamic, responsive UIs
- You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to coding standards, and thrive in a fast-paced, sprint-like environment
- Lead frontend development for a B2B generative AI chatbot project
- Mentor and collaborate with a less senior front-end engineers
- Make critical early decisions on frameworks, libraries, and best practices
- Implement dynamic UI, responsive to both conversational content and generated media
- Drive cross-team collaboration with product, backend, data, QA, and DevOps teams
- Contribute to coding standards and bring strong opinions on best practices
- Push to meet aggressive timelines and enjoy working in a fast-paced, sprint-like environment
Our take
Accessing supplier data allows companies to improve supply chain agility and make procurement more efficient, but existing methods of self-reported data have room for improvement. The data is often not expansive enough for truly beneficial insights and is not announced until it is too late to be used, showing a demand for predictive procurement data tools in the industry.
TealBook delivers a platform for procurement data that is driven by AI and ML, providing expansive supplier data to companies before it is self-reported based on analytics-driven predictions. This ultimately allows users to discover the right suppliers, optimize spending, and innovate upon performance with a large supplier data set, driving supply chain agility within both eCommerce and retail markets.
Whilst supply chains face innovations in logistics, inventory predictions, and other areas, procurement data still relies on antiquated systems. So TealBook has been smart to recognize this and augment it through AI. The company serves big names in the industry, such as LinkedIn and Nasdaq, highlighting its positive market position.
