Who you are
- 10+ years of design experience, with extensive work on complex B2B SaaS products
- 5+ years of management experience, leading design teams
- Evidence of designing high-quality B2B enterprise capabilities leveraging common UX/UI patterns

What the job involves
- To achieve great outcomes for the platform, you need to partner with other teams, orient around customer needs, understand the technical challenges that come with scale, and know how to be opinionated to achieve the right results with your Product Management and Engineering counterparts to execute a vision that enables Vanta to do more than what we see today
- Lead Design for our Platform organization, providing visionary leadership and strategic direction
- Lead multiple teams to develop and deliver cross-platform solutions that are intuitive, flexible, and provide substantial customer value
- Oversee the design and implementation of shared primitives, components, and features to ensure consistent experiences throughout the Vanta platform
- Shape and articulate the long-term design vision for the Platform team, aligning scalable and innovative feature strategies with broader company objectives
- Establish a design roadmap that balances both short and long-term company goals
- Collaborate with executive leadership to advocate for and implement design-driven initiatives with significant impact across the organization
- Foster a design-centric culture that prioritizes user experience and customer satisfaction
- Be accountable for the full employee life cycle across all teams, including hiring, onboarding, goal alignment, work assignment, coaching, performance management, developing managers, and addressing resource gaps
- Hold teams accountable for making decisions that benefit both the company and its customers
- Manage and develop experienced individual contributors, ensuring they grow and excel in their roles
- Collaborate closely with the Design Systems team to ensure that all Platform work not only adheres to but also enhances and extends the design system with confidence and consistency

The security auditing process is usually very time-consuming, taking hours to complete, and it is often difficult for start-ups to invest time into such a process. Yet, the benefits of security accreditation are enormous, mainly as many such businesses are working globally and need ways to demonstrate security compliance to one another. Vanta works specifically with start-ups to help them complete and pass security audits such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
The company is a compliance portal and security monitoring platform that businesses use to assess their risk levels. Vanta carries out a pre-audit of a company's digital security and highlights areas that need to be worked on before a full analysis of all threats is carried out. Other businesses such as Datadog or PagerDuty offer similar security monitoring services, but Vanta monitors its customers throughout the year, allowing any issues to be identified and addressed early on.
Vanta has found a valuable cybersecurity niche within the giant SaaS market. Companies such as Lattice, Clubhouse, and Calm are all customers, demonstrating a growing trend for companies to manage their cybersecurity proactively, which Vanta should be able to take advantage of to further grow and develop into the future.
