Role
Who you are
- 5+ years experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role
- Proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement in complex accounts and $1M+ ARR transactions
- Experience handling and owning enterprise deal sizes and C-Level relationships
- Willing and comfortable with strategic outbound prospecting
- A self-starter with a high level of motivation who sees themselves as a major stakeholder in Nash's growth. Demonstrated ability to manage responsibilities independently while contributing to team success
- Strong curiosity in understanding customer needs and challenges, with the ability to ask insightful questions that uncover deeper issues and craft tailored solutions
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and technical concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels, from C-suite executives to technical teams. Capable of presenting Nash’s value proposition persuasively and handling objections effectively
What the job involves
- As a Client Director at Nash, you will help transform how the largest enterprises reimagine how they manage last-mile delivery
- This is a strategic, high-impact role focused on closing complex, high-value deals and shaping how our most important customers adopt Nash’s AI-powered logistics infrastructure
- You will play a crucial role on our Go-To-Market (GTM) team in scaling Nash’s enterprise sales motion, building predictable revenue streams with aggressive quotas
- Your focus will be on industries where Nash has already established strong traction: Grocery, Retail, Convenience, Food, and Pharmaceuticals
- You will leverage our technical edge, agility, and grit to drive further success in these markets
- Your passion and expertise will help us build the Nash brand and further accelerate our rapid expansion
- This is a full-cycle role with support from marketing, product, and data, and your work will help customers evolve from fragmented delivery workflows to unified, intelligent logistics infrastructure
- Build and manage a complex sales pipeline from scratch, focusing on high-value, enterprise-level deals. This includes identifying, prospecting, demoing, negotiating, and closing deals with a strategic approach
- Develop and execute a high-touch playbook for each target account that leverages a strong outbound motion, strategic networking, and targeted messaging to engage and convert key named accounts
- Establish and grow Executive - Level relationships within strategic, named accounts across the grocery, convenience, pharmaceutical, and retail industries, positioning Nash as a trusted partner in their delivery operations
- Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and engineering teams to align Nash’s offerings with customer needs. Provide actionable feedback that refines sales strategies and supports product development
- Maintain a deep understanding of target markets and customer pain points. Contribute to internal feedback loops that drive product development and marketing strategies, keeping Nash ahead of market demands
- Routinely update CRM and other sales tools with accurate activity data, deal progressions, revenue projections and next steps, maintaining transparency and strong sales hygiene
Our take
Nash makes it easier for businesses to manage same day delivery by aggregating available providers such as Lyft, Uber, and DoorDash on one interface. This leaves the business free to select (or automate) the best option based on cost and availability. The startup works across a growing number of verticals, from food delivery, to retail, pharmaceuticals or auto parts.
With a growing consumer demand for fast, hyperlocal delivery, small to medium sized businesses often struggle to keep up with the logistics and costs. This has led to the emergence of more and more last mile delivery startups. However, managing the huge variety of delivery options coming onto the market cost-effectively is often overwhelming and time consuming.
Nash’s strategy of positioning itself between merchants and delivery companies is a clever one so long as it can continue to build partnerships with both national and local delivery providers. So far this strategy has paid off, and the company has experienced rapid growth since its 2021 founding. It already covers all of the USA, and is eyeing up expansion in Canada and the UK in the near future.
