Who you are

We are looking for Software Engineers from a variety of technical backgrounds with a proven track record in building scalable, reliable and performant systems
Proficiency in Java or Kotlin
Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, API design, and database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Understanding of system design principles and scalable architectures
Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD tools
Experience with event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to code quality

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms like GCP, AWS or Azure
Knowledge of blockchain technologies or financial systems
Proficiency in frontend technologies like React

What the job involves

You will play a critical role in building financial and crypto-native products, services and APIs
As a Senior Back-End Engineer you should lead by example - driving the technical discussions, influencing the approach and making a positive impact on the team's development by advocating the best engineering practices
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Kotlin & Java
Build and optimize APIs for seamless integration with front-end and third-party systems
Work with relational and NoSQL databases to manage and process large-scale data efficiently
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployment and testing processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-quality, and user-centric solutions
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of continuous improvement
Work closely with design and product teams to ensure seamless integration of user-facing and server-side features
