Who you are
- This is the perfect position for someone who wishes to advance their career quickly and wants to continually grow in marketing/growth or start their own business in a few years
- We are seeking a candidate with a growth mindset and a strong customer focus
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in managing paid advertising for a brand (agency experience will not be considered)
- Proven experience with paid social advertising, demonstrating success in scaling accounts
- Experience collaborating with creative teams to develop ad creatives and implement a test-and-learn approach for optimization
- Background in a high-growth startup environment
- Experience in launching new marketing channels from the ground up
- A strong desire to achieve growth targets, with a continuous focus on improvement
- Customer-centric mindset, prioritising the customer’s perspective and building feedback loops
- Ownership mentality, with a strong desire for responsibility and the autonomy that comes with it
- Proactive attitude, with a knack for anticipating issues or opportunities
- Excellent collaboration skills and an open-minded approach, facilitating smooth teamwork across departments

What the job involves
- We are looking to hire a Growth Marketing Manager with over 4 years of experience to help drive the growth of Voy’s weight loss offering

- You will be working alongside some of the leading industry professionals in the UK, with experience at TransferWise, Deliveroo, HelloFresh, and more
- Voy is a brand within MANUAL’s array of products and services, and it has ambitious growth plans to become one of the largest players in the weight loss space
- We are a clinically backed weight loss program that merges behavioural science with breakthrough medication to help our customers achieve life-changing results and maintain them
- Working alongside a team of marketers, commercial professionals, and product managers, you will own marketing for a rapidly growing category
- You will determine how we build, test, and aggressively scale the marketing of our weight loss business
- You will manage a significant budget, deciding where to allocate spend and resources across our paid and organic channels
- We are not shy in saying that this is a demanding role
- It requires ownership and initiative to drive projects forward to completion
- The primary objective of this role is to own marketing for our fastest-growing product category
- This includes managing a substantial paid advertising budget alongside our organic growth strategies
- Holistic Growth Strategy: Maintain a comprehensive view of growth by identifying high-leverage opportunities that drive significant impact
- Integrate The Customer: Be deeply customer-obsessed and data-driven, ensuring that customer feedback loops are integrated into the growth process
- Budget Optimisation: Manage budgets across all marketing channels, allocating resources to maximise value and return on investment
- Refining Attribution: Work closely with the data team to continuously improve attribution models and insights
- Marketing Ownership: Take full ownership of our paid advertising channels, including Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and social media
- New Channel Launches: Successfully launch and scale new marketing channels from inception (0) to maturity (1)
- Scaling Paid Social: Implement a test-and-learn approach to effectively scale our paid social channels
- Stakeholder Management: Report on progress and manage stakeholder expectations, taking ownership of all paid advertising initiatives
- Organic Growth Collaboration: Collaborate with the team responsible for organic growth strategies

MANUAL is a digital healthcare clinic supporting patients with life-changing conditions such as hormonal imbalance, obesity, menopause and hair loss across the UK and Brazil. It does this with a blend of doctor-specialist services, prescription medication backed by science, and digital products informed by behavioural change.
Manual works to remove the stigma around health problems such as obesity, hormone imbalances and menopause through teleconsultations, testing, regular check-ins and a range of tools, supplements and medications to treat commmon issues like poor sleep, hair loss, erectile dysfunction and skin conditions. Originally focused solely on men's health, the service led a shift in attitudes among its customers, with about half the men using the service to treat more than one condition, indicating that they're not just seeking help for the worst health issue that they're experiencing. Since, then it has opened its services to all genders with a hope to sift attitudes on a wider variety of health issues.
Manual has raised an impressive amount of capital, most recently in 2024. This funding is being used to expand its reach and enhance its services, particularly focussing on treatments for hormonal imbalance, obesity, and hair loss.
