Who you are
- This position demands a strategic thinker with a knack for consultative selling, being capable of understanding and addressing potential clients' needs with tailor-made solutions
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in a closing role, preferably within the SaaS or biotech sectors. Experience with procurement processes and technology is a plus
- Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, adept at consultative selling, negotiation, and strategic thinking
- Attributes: Goal-driven, resilient, and persistent, with a positive attitude towards challenges and a commitment to personal and professional growth
- Team Orientation: A collaborative spirit, supportive of team members, and motivated by collective success
- Education: A bachelor's degree is required, with a Business, Marketing, or a related field concentration preferred but not required

- Forecasting Experience: Experience with forecasting frameworks, such as MEDDICC, to drive an accurate and predictable pipeline

- Customer Acquisition: Identify and engage potential biotech clients, employing effective prospecting strategies to expand ZAGENO’s customer base
- Consultative Selling: Adopt a solution-oriented approach to sales, understanding customer pain points and articulating the value of ZAGENO’s platform in meeting their needs
- Deal Closure: Drive the sales cycle from initial contact to signing deals, employing strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Pipeline Management: Actively manage and strategize your sales pipeline for sustained, long-term success
- Collaboration and Support: Work closely with your peers and the leadership team, contributing to a culture of success and continuous improvement

The company attracted a large funding round to which it will be able to continue its support to science on a larger magnitude globally. In the same vein of rapid growth Zageno showed a fever for scaling by recently appointing Tracy-Ann Brown as Senior VP of People, Tracy previously led WeWork growth from 12 to 15,00 across the US and Japan operations.
