Who you are
- Duration: six months internship
- We’re looking for someone with a near-native level of German (C2 level) AND fluent in English (C1 level). If it’s not your case, we'd love to consider your application for future positions where this isn't a hard requirement

- Proficiency in Google Suite (especially Sheets/Excel and Slides); skills in Metabase/SQL are a plus
- Education in Economics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related fields; an MBA is ideal
- A fast learner who quickly adapts to new areas
- Result-oriented and committed to execution
- A can-do attitude and enthusiasm for new challenges
- Self-motivated to learn continuously for personal and professional growth
- First experience in management consulting, investment banking, venture capital, or a high-growth startup is a plus
What the job involves
- Although we are a remote first company, this role requires you to be based in Berlin and visit our office (Maschinenraum Berlin co-working space with access to the German Mittelstand innovation events and the startup ecosystem) a few times per week
- This will give you greater exposure to the Founders, allowing you to learn from them and collaborate more effectively
- In this unique role, you will work directly with our Founders, supporting them on a wide variety of tasks and driving your own projects across all areas of the business, including Business Development, Data Intelligence, Project Management, and Investor Relations
- From day one, you'll take ownership of your tasks. Projects will depend on company needs and your strengths and interests
- As a Founders Associate, you will collaborate directly with the Founders to shape and implement strategic initiatives in Cozero's key focus areas
- While your main responsibility will be in business development, you will also engage in various aspects of the business, undertaking a range of operational tasks
- Support the Founders in a variety of projects based on your skillset and project priority, from investor relations to operational tasks
- Play a key role in building our data-driven organization by analyzing data, building dashboards, and defining action items
- Work with different teams to ensure they run their functions efficiently
- Drive operational excellence across all Cozero functions
Our take
Conflicts in the 2020s and climate change are challenging energy companies, leading to an unprecedented demand for more commitment to renewable raw materials from all stakeholders. For companies, this means it is now no longer a luxury to save CO2 emissions where possible.
Cozero is a software company that creates products to fit that need. The startup was founded to enable companies to effectively decarbonise and it differentiates itself from competitors by framing these CO2 savings in the language of business - each measure details CO2 saved per Euro invested.
With over 70 enterprise customers, the company's next steps will involve accelerating its international expansion and advance its Climate ERP solution. Having already helped cut Vodafone's media carbon footprint by a third, the company is well set for even greater success as it continues to grow.
