Role
Who you are
- You understand how to design and develop modular software features in a collaborative environment and agile team
- We are looking for a motivated and driven self-starter, to further our solutions on embedded platforms
- 5+ years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Strong programming experience and demonstrated proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems, including development of algorithms, manipulation of complex data structures, and implementing highly optimized code
- Consumer electronics experience or familiarity with 2-3 or relevant technologies: mutli-core ARM processors, WiFi/BT, IoT
- Familiarity with ARM or equivalent embedded multi-core microprocessor architectures is required
- Strong understanding of operating systems concepts such as thread scheduling, context switching and memory management is required
- RTOS, Linux or Android OS with ARM
- Electrical bus communication such as UART, CAN, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, etc
- We are hiring in the following locations: Vancouver, and Toronto. This is a hybrid role, with the expectation of being in the office 1–2 days per week

The company offers both hardware and software solutions to freight companies, allowing them to manage their fleet and keep their drivers safe. One of these solutions is an AI-powered dashcam that detects unsafe driving behavior in real time and instantly alerts the driver.
The platform, which is used by over 120,000 companies, from small businesses to Fortune 500 enterprises, received series F funding in 2022, which is being used to accelerate its investment in AI, expand its product offerings into spend management, and grow its enterprise capabilities.
