Role
Who you are
- Experienced in electrical engineering and collaborating with electrical engineering teams
- Motivated to build and develop performant, world-class designs
- Passionate about the energy sector and climate change
- 5+ years of professional experience as an electrical engineer
- Great communication skills
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn
- BA/BS or Masters degree in EE or relevant field
- Demonstrated experience with RF design and simulation (2 - 6 GHz), including PCB transformers and antennas
- Switching power supply, microprocessor, and data acquisition experience is a plus
What the job involves
- As an Electrical Engineer, you will be a member of a small team involved in all aspects of design, verification, certification, testing, and support of Sense products in utility meters and energy infrastructure
- This position will be onsite at our Cambridge office, conveniently located in Central Square
- Design, simulation, and verification of RF switching and amplification subsystems
- Engineering support for design, layout, component selection, and manufacturing
- Coordinate and work closely with internal firmware teams and our partners
- Work in a fast-paced, agile, highly iterative development environment
