Who you are
- We are looking for candidates with a proven track record of building deep partner relationships, negotiating & closing commercial agreements, and orchestrating go-to-market rollouts to support Ramp’s channel goals of driving scaled distribution
- Minimum 7 years of work experience with a minimum 3 years of experience in Business Development/Partnerships, Sales, Partnership Management, or Partner Sales
- Strong discovery skills, with a knack for identifying pain points and consultative selling
- History as a top performer, regularly exceeding targets and quotas
- Dedication to tracking and improving performance and efficiency daily
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent listening skills
- Bias for action and a strong desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment
- A strong cross-functional collaborator who can build relationships across the company
Desirable
- Background in Financial Services - preferably Payments or Lending
- Background in Investing (Private Equity / Venture Capital), Management Consulting, or Investment Banking
What the job involves
- Ramp’s Financial Institutions Channel is building a distribution flywheel where financial institutions view Ramp as the obvious go-to corporate card and expense management provider for their clients and investments at scale
- As a Senior Partner Manager on the Financial Institutions channel team, you’ll have the opportunity to build and scale our bespoke practice areas, distributing Ramp through banks, lenders, and scaled tech partners
- You will be expected to sign and activate prospective partners, enable and onboard their team members, and achieve consistent quota attainment and overachievement by driving top-of-funnel referral volume and supporting the close of referred deals
- Educate financial institutions on Ramp's offering for their clients and translate Ramp's core value proposition to the needs of the partner’s clients and the goals of the partner
- Sign partnership agreements and create comprehensive GTM plans to ensure commercial success
- Drive revenue for Ramp by generating client referrals from these partnered institutions
- Identify and build relationships with multiple stakeholders within financial institutions
- Work cross-functionally across marketing, growth, direct sales, product, & engineering to drive co-marketing opportunities, onboard new clients, and inform our product roadmap to support the goals of our partners
- Become an expert in Ramp’s product, features, and workflows

Ramp provides companies with a dual offering of corporate cards and a spending management dashboard. The dashboard allows companies to oversee their costs, automate manual accounting practices, reimburse out-of-pocket spending, and earn cashback on financial outlays.
Founded in 2019 and coming out of stealth in 2020, the company quickly reached a valuation of a whopping $8.1B in early 2022 and hit $22.5B in 2025. Its clients include several big-name companies including fast-growth health tech startup Ro, Planned Parenthood, and Truebill. 90% of its customers have made the switch from legacy players such as Expensify and Concur, showing that Ramp provides real customer value.
The team that built Ramp is the same one that launched the automated price tracking company Paribus before selling it to Capital One. It is now focused on scoping out more M&A opportunities and boosting its headcount to support investing in its software and going into new verticals.
