Staff Accountant, Angle Health

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
• 1+ years of accounting experience
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Working knowledge of GAAP
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills
• Good problem-solving and time-management skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented

Desirable

• As a staff accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, assisting with budget and close processes, conducting internal audits, and maintaining accounts payable documentation
• Our team moves quickly to make company-wide decisions, thus it is crucial to strike a balance between getting the details right while still moving fast.
• Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts
• Prepare journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations
• Assist with monthly close processes with little supervision
• Maintain documentation for accounts payable, purchasing, and treasury and conducting internal audits
• Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and resolve potential discrepancies
• Facilitate collection from overdue accounts by contacting groups via telephone or email
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Meet processing and reporting deadlines
• Respond to information requests, review financial statements, and assist with audits
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and statutory requirements
• Collaborate with the team on collections of overdue accounts and general outreach to groups
• Assist the head of finance as needed
