Who you are
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years full-time software engineering experience
- Demonstrated interest in open and community-driven platforms
- Nice-To-Have: experience in a blockchain based project
- English language proficiency
What the job involves
- As a full-stack engineer at Phantom you’ll be doing everything from building delightful user interfaces and creating cross-platform client infrastructure on the frontend, to creating APIs, data pipelines and services that bridge the gap between the blockchain and the user experience our users have come to expect on the backend
- Feature development: You will be owning features on our web platforms – currently the Phantom Extension and our website
- New initiatives and products: You will be leading initiatives to add support for other blockchains to Phantom, and to launch new complementary products or infrastructure
- Interfacing with users: You will be interfacing directly with end-users and developers building on Phantom – supporting them and collecting feedback to inform the direction of the product
- Team building: You will be working with the team to create and foster a culture of raising the bar with each new hire

Many crypto enthusiasts prefer the wallet option as non-custodial wallets remove the third-party option and users gain full control over their data. Phantom is a cryptocurrency wallet that creates a space for users to buy, send, receive, swap tokens and collect NFTs.
Phantom hosts the Solana blockchain, though Ethereum is generally more popular within the crypto world, Solana is said to have faster speeds and lower transaction costs. Offering the same wallet features as its competitors, the company are setting itself apart with newer features like the “Burn NFTs” feature allowing users to remove spam NFTs sent by attackers and support them in dodging NFT theft prevalent in the sector. The company prides itself on extremely high-security factors.
Founded in 2021 the company already has an impressive firm valuation of $1.2 billion. It might not be in the top-rated crypto wallets out there yet but the young company will likely join this list if it continues on this upward trajectory and continues to diversify itself by adding special features and product offerings.
