Who you are
- While we are open to a broad range of senior PM backgrounds, we are particularly seeking candidates with a technical product management foundation — individuals who enjoy working closely with engineering teams, understand data and systems, and can navigate complex technical tradeoffs without losing sight of user needs
- 5+ years of product management experience building digital products with user-centric outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver impactful products in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills and comfort partnering with technical teams — including translating between business needs and technical implementation
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across levels
- Proven track record owning product outcomes, prioritizing effectively, and navigating tradeoffs with clarity
- Technical background (e.g., engineering, CS degree, or significant technical product experience)
- Hands-on experience with data, APIs, infrastructure products, or platform services
- Experience with consumer-facing or data-intensive product domains
- Experience working with mobile products and performance optimization

What the job involves
- As a Senior Product Manager at Grow, you’ll be at the heart of defining product direction, prioritizing work that drives measurable outcomes, and influencing product culture across the organization
- Drive product strategy and define clear roadmaps in collaboration with cross-functional partners, including Engineering, Design, Analytics, and Go-to-Market teams
- Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle from discovery to delivery, ensuring quality and customer value
- Partner with engineering teams to make tradeoffs between complexity, user experience, and business impact
- Use data, qualitative insights, and user research to inform decisions and measure product impact
- Communicate product vision, opportunity framing, and status to senior leadership
- Mentor and collaborate with other product managers, fostering a culture of shared learning and continuous improvement
- Ensure alignment on product goals and success metrics across diverse stakeholder groups
Our take
Mental health issues affect about 20% of Americans, so there’s an immense need for qualified mental healthcare in the US. However the vast majority of therapists don’t accept insurance due to the prohibitive administrative workload involved. This leaves therapy out of reach for many Americans. So it’s no surprise that the Grow Therapy platform has seen skyrocketing popularity since it was founded in 2020.
Grow Therapy helps therapists open their own in-network practices, providing the technology, support, and resources to tackle the extra operational workload that would allow them to take insurance. It’s live across a number of states, and works in partnership with all the major insurance payers including Humana, Aetna and Cigna.
The company is competing with larger rivals like Alma and Quartet Health, but this should be a big enough market for several major participants. Grow has secured good funding that supported the launch of its enhanced measurement-informed care system, which will help improve the care experience for clients and providers and make value-based behavioral care accessible for more patients.
