Who you are

1-2 years of sales experience at a SaaS company
Experience working with a CRM (Hubspot/Salesforce)
Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets
Proficiency in short-cycle sales, particularly in fast-paced micro-business environments
Metrics-driven with a command for key sales metrics including win-rate, quota attainment, conversion rate, etc
Knowledge of the beauty and wellness space/beauty businesses is a plus

What the job involves

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving new business by taking a consultative approach and showcasing why GlossGenius is the right choice for business owners in the beauty and wellness industry
You will focus on selling to teams with 2+ service providers and ensuring that they are set up for success on the platform
You will report to the Sales Manager
Manage the full sales cycle from qualifying leads to closing deals
Onboard new customers to the GlossGenius platform to ensure long term success
Effectively manage and nurture a pipeline of inbound leads
Communicate & escalate feedback internally to cross functional business partners across marketing, product, product marketing, and ops
Consistently meet or exceed established sales targets and KPIs

Business management platforms exist for a wide range of industries, including retail, hospitality, and healthcare. However, despite a modern facade the beauty industry lacks specialised software and still runs on generic CRMs and basic spreadsheets. Recognising a gap in the market, GlossGenius has stepped in to provided a specialised business management platform for beauty salons, spas and studios.

With no competition in this niche, GlossGenius has swiftly captured a large market share, with triple-digit year on year revenue growth. It serves over 40,000 businesses (70% of which are women-owned) and has more than $2 billion in annual transactions on the platform.

GlossGenius has raised a large amount of capital in several funding rounds closed in quick succession. It is aiming to accelerate platform development off the back of its releasing of consumer experience, payment and automation products. It is well on the way to fulfilling its long-term aim of developing into the Toast of the beauty industry.
