To develop technologies that not only improve shipping strategies but turn them into competitive advantages.
The existing infrastructure of the U.S. shipping industry is becoming antiquated, with the complexity of shipping logistics being siloed and requiring manual organization. Shippers must directly communicate with freight companies to organize their shipping logistics, in addition to organizing and paying drivers and managing vehicle fleets en-masse.
Shipwell provides an online marketplace and toolkit to help companies manage the booking, organization, and analysis of their shipping systems through an all-in-one service. The aim of the company is to improve the customer's ability to upscale their business and shipping fleets through automation and data insights.
Shipping management software is on the rise, so Shipwell finds itself within a competitive market. However, the start-up’s unique focus on increasing the accessibility to tools for scaling and streamlining the resilience of a supply chain shows great promise in an ever-growing market with fluctuating dynamics.
