Who you are

1-3 years of experience in General Accounting
1 year of experience in Accounts Payable or Travel and Expense Management
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting
Strong attention to detail and accuracy and ability to meet deadlines
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with Sage Intacct, Coupa, and Brex is preferred
Self-Starter and have the ability to challenge the status quo
CPA or working towards a CPA certification is a plus

What the job involves

We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant that will be responsible for accounting operations for our organization
Their duties will include but not limited to preparing reconciliations, performing month end close procedures, recording journal entries including payroll and accrued expenses, and managing the travel and expense platform
Perform month end close activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciliations
Prepare inter-company reconciliations for international entities
Manage employee T&E submission process using Brex
Manage Fixed Asset processes
Reconcile and post journal entries related to payroll and bonus compensation
Provide support and backup for Accounts Payable, including coding vendor invoices in the Coupa AP management system
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures
Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required
Assist with year-end financial statement audit and internal control documentation
