Who you are

This role requires a strategic thinker who can not only analyze data who can works as a standalone point of contact to core marketing team
You have 8 years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or a related data-focused role
A master of data visualization with a strong portfolio of dashboards and reports created in tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
You possess hands-on experience creating and managing data tables using SQL and have a solid understanding of data warehousing principles. You are experienced in handling key Demand Generation data sets from platforms such as GA4, DemandBase, Marketo, Outreach
You are leveraging AI to build agents, models and automate analytical workflows
A strategic and curious thinker with a proven ability to tackle ambiguous problems, identify new data opportunities, and drive analytical projects from conception to completion

Reports to: Senior Manager of Marketing Analytics
The Marketing Analytics team is at the heart of our data-driven marketing strategy
We are a group of passionate analysts and data storytellers who partner with all areas of the marketing and sales development to uncover insights, measure performance, and guide strategic decisions
As a Principal Marketing Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our marketing strategies through advanced data analysis and insights
Transforming complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that drive business growth
You will be responsible for a wide range of analytical tasks, from creating foundational data tables to developing models that forecast performance and identify new opportunities
Design and build compelling data visualizations and dashboards to translate complex findings into actionable insights for the marketing team and executive leadership
Develop and maintain data tables and reporting structures to ensure accurate and timely measurement of marketing campaign performance and KPIs
Incorporate AI into your weekly workflows to automate analyses, enhance predictive capabilities, and uncover deeper insights
Think strategically to identify and source new datasets, both internal and external, to enrich our understanding of customer behavior and market trends
Lead deep-dive analyses on new and changing organizational needs, providing data-driven recommendations to guide marketing strategy and investment

Manual research can be a serious pain: financial analysts spend hours every week searching through PDFs one keyword at a time, just to find a single usable insight. To remedy this, AlphaSense has built a smart search engine that slashes research time for analysts, using thousands of sources and a semantic indexing layer that can effectively query finance-specific language.

As a disruptor and market leader in this field, AlphaSense has few direct competitors, being most closely compared to Wolfram Alpha or LexisNexis. It helps that its tools are undoubtedly effective and valued by knowledge professionals: the company counts about 85% of the S&P 100 as customers and is trusted by J.P.Morgan, Microsoft, Credit Suisse and Google, among other major enterprises.

Having raised a large amount of funding over 2022 and 2023, AlphaSense has moved quickly to double down on its expansion in European markets, opening an office in Berlin to support this. With 2024 seeing investment from Singaporean EDBI, it has now set its sights on the Asia-Pacific region. As business intelligence will remain key for enterprises as they compete for market share, AlphaSense is well-placed for additional future growth.
